BBM

Have you ever heard of Bikini Body Mommy? I love her. She has YouTube exercise videos and has a meal plan that you can follow. She is so real and is struggling right along with you and is loosing weight also. Her videos are about 15-20 minutes each.

Revolution 8

BEFORE                        AFTER

This is a months difference after joining the Revolution8 class. It doesn't look like much but I lost 9 total inches all over and look at the skin hanging off my face on the right. That looks a little weird!

This class that I joined is having a group class twice a week and on your own exercising the rest of the week. They gave us the exercises to do at home and taught us about nutrition. It was one of the hardest thing I have done and am so proud of myself for making it through. The class is 8 weeks long and you aren't stuck in the gym all the time. We went running 4.6 miles, swimming and a 17 mile bike ride. I loved it. The next round starts July 7th and I am already signed up!

Here is a picture of our class the last night of this round: Obstacle course in the park, sand bags, arm crawls and flipping giant tires...

I have to remember I can do anything that I put my mind to!

Never give up

I need to read this every time I am not where I need to be. It is always hard starting over and thinking where you could be if you hadn't given up. This is a lifestyle change not a destination!

Limitations Suck!

I had to have a full hysterectomy with a bladder lift and an appendectomy (removal of appendix), on December 18. I had been told that it is a long and hard recovery, but I had NO idea it would suck this bad! I had to be on the couch all through Christmas. It was great having my kids home to help me though through their school break.

I can't exercise! I can't walk far distances with out having to sit down. I am on limitations of no lifting, keeping stairs to the minimum, no bending, pulling etc. This is so hard! I know it will be worth it when I am fully recovered. No more periods! No more peeing a little during Zumba, coughing and laughing! I sure hope it is all worth it. But I seriously can not wait to start exercising again. I have kept off the first 30 lbs. thanks heavens. So I am anxious to get to the next 25-30 lbs loss.

My First 5K

At the end of September I ran my first 5K. It was the Color Me Rad in Saint George. 2 of my friends from work ran with me. The weather was perfect. I have always wanted to get my first 5K under my belt.  Now I have and I want to do more!
